On 11 and 12 June 2014, the workshop "FilmEd Learning Experiences" about Film Education in Europe, took place in the "Filmoteca de Catalunya".

Different Spanish and international contributions on the subject of "Film Education" allowed the participants an insight about successful or less successful practices in their countries.

On 27 and 28 May 2014, the first European Media and Information Literacy Forum was held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

The high number of participants, which was around 300, was the evidence for the importance and relevance of the subject.
The lectures, both from European and non-European representatives, could partially reveal large differences in the presence and implementation of Media Literacy in the respective countries.

In the Lila Villa at the "Kulturkeller" there is new children's cinema "Lila". It takes place on the last Sunday of the month by 15 clock, except in July, August and December.

For the competition of the 38th Swiss Youth Film Festival were logged a total of 280 short films. Of these 47 contribution in the five categories for the main program were selected.
