Departed from Brussels, Tülin Ozdemir makes a "road movie" by train to the limits of "her" Turkey, the Anatolian village of her grandmother. Embroidered by meetings with Armenian women evoking the persistent difficulty to live in the Turkish society after the genocide of 1915, this filmed quest for origin vibrates to the sound of old songs shared by both communities.

More than fifty years after the end of the war of liberation, a French filmmaker and an Algerian photographer bring us in 1962 in the Sahara. On a desert irradiated area in the suburbs of Algiers, they follow the path of the fallout from a nuclear explosion, which dramatic traces interrogates the responsibility of nations. A film of great formal rigor and a shocking unknown subject.

On request we organize screenings of three films dates in the cinemas of the french part of Switzerland. Minimum of 100 students.

All projections of the official program of the Festival are open to classes accompanied by their teachers. The following meetings are also open to classes.
Price of a session: frs 7.- per student, invited teachers.
Price day pass: frs 20.- per student, invited teachers.
